LUXURY YACHT MALDIVES is a market leader company whose core business is managing diving cruise yachts in the Maldives.
In 1990 Dodi Telli and Massimo Sandrini, two passionate scuba divers, made their dream come true: they started a unique product able to transmit strong and unforgettable emotions of an undiscovered sea world to other divers under safe circumstances along with comfort and ultimate Italian taste. That’s how Luxury Yacht Maldives came to light, and it still operates according to the same philosophy: to provide the ultimate holiday by creating the perfect dreamlike emotions in the most amazing corners of the world by looking at details as well as at a safe environment.
THE EXPERIENCE
The experience of decades is our asset …
At the beginning of the nineties they started the Italian tour operator Albatros Top Boat, the leading liveaboard cruises in the Maldives. After having a lot of success in Italy, they started to expand their services to non-Italian guests as well, under the company’s name Luxury Yacht Maldives. The requests were increasing, so their next step was to introduce new top destinations and new products combinations (Sudan, Philippines, resorts, guesthouses, custom-made cruises, special charters, fishing weeks etc.).
After many years as passionate scuba divers they started promoting the protection and the respect of the underwater sea life in the Maldives by working along with scientific institutions, such as Universities in the Marine Biology area (Genoa, Italy) as well as International organizations such as Manta Trust.
The experience is the pillar of their Company along with their enthusiasm of the last 25 years. Their story of success shows that effort, commitment, attention to details and curiosity are winning factors, acknowledged and appreciated by thousands of guests who travelled and keep travelling with them.
Their ‘repeaters’’ (guests) percentage is around 60% every year.

Who are their guests?
Their guest is a curious explorer, who loves nature, pristine and pure landscapes. He/she chooses a liveaboard holiday pushed by the desire to discover the sea and its underwater world. He/she wants to feel the emotions of being part of a different world unseen from the shore and pushed to discover the still mysterious life below the surface. And coming back from a whole day of diving and exploration, still with the eyes full of wonders, he/she will be pampered with a luxurious dinner in a comfortable modern yacht furnished with an Italian touch.

Our Maldivian fleet
The Yachts, owned by Luxury Yacht Maldives, are entirely made of wood, built and furnished with local materials.
Our fleet consists of two vessels: M/Y Duke of York, a 36 mt (118 ft) long vessel, which can comfortably accommodate up to 24 people, and M/Y Conte Max, 33 mt (108 ft) long, hosting up to 21 people.
They are both equipped with restaurants offering a combination of Italian and international cuisine, with a hint of the Maldivian exotic flavour. Comfortable sofas and sunbeds are in the outdoors decks. A lounge bar serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, Ayurveda massage centre and boutique. The cabins, all equipped with large private services, are spacious and fitted with wide wardrobes and air conditioning; through the portholes guests will enjoy the sight of breath-taking landscapes during the cruise. The Yachts also offer common areas dedicated to photo and video cameras, equipped with charging stations at 220v. A big diving Dhoni, the typical Maldivian boat, always follows the main boat and it is used for diving, transfers and other marine activities (snorkeling, fishing, surfing, photo shooting etc.).
On board both Yachts diving courses are available in various specialties and levels. Dives include air or Nitrox for free and the chance to dive with own Rebreathers. Instructors and boat leaders, from different parts of Europe, are long time experienced in scuba diving in the Maldives. Local dive guides are all PADI Dive-Masters, and they know better than anyone else each hidden corner of coral reef and atolls, which provides our guests with unforgettable emotions but still in a safe environment. The cruises, however, aren’t solely dedicated to experienced scuba divers. Non-diving guests can still admire life on the reef while snorkeling, fishing and more guided sport activities. They can also enjoy shore trips, with panoramas of rare beauty as well as shopping on fishermen islands or on the capital city, Malè.
Safety
Luxury Yacht Maldives is a passionate diving cruise company which combines the charm of the sea life with safety measures, in the water as well as on board: safety, enjoyment and wellness of the guests are their main focus. In order to guarantee the highest level of safety, both Yachts are equipped with the most modern tools, such as Nautilus Lifeline GPS and defibrillator; and also with a lot of attention to the air/Nitrox refill in compliance with the scuba diving rules and respect for the marine nature.

Sudan Destination
M/Y Felicidad II is undergoing a complete restyling and will be ready to sail the waters of the Sudanese Red Sea in October 2017. Three major names in the scuba diving world are involved in this project and have decided to join their passion along with their experience to start this new adventure: Aurora Branciamore, scuba diving holidays organizer since 1971 and especially in Sudan for over 40 years. Dodi Telli, passionate scuba diving instructor as well as owner of Luxury Yacht Maldives.
Licia Ricciardi & Alessandro Berton, ship owners of the sailing boat San Marco (previously in Sudan, but now operating in Greece), expert of scuba diving in the Maldives for 12 years as well as in Sudan since 2003. Diving Centre
On top of the long experience with liveaboard cruises and with Top Tours destinations another great experience is the management of many Diving Centers in several resorts in Italy, the Maldives and Egypt under the brand ‘ATD Albatros Top Diving’.
